Alternative? A generic sensor from a discount vendor at $8,000 total, quoted “3–5 business days.” They failed to deliver by day 4 (missing deadline by 14 hours). That delayed the client’s product validation by two weeks. The missed milestone triggered a $50,000 penalty in their contract.

What You Might Be Thinking — And Why I Stand Firm
