Which TE Connectivity Are You Actually Buying?

I have been the person who orders components for a mid-size automation company. I manage about $180k in annual purchasing across nine vendors, maybe ten if you count the office printer. My job is to keep engineers satisfied and finance from asking questions. When I get a quote, the first thing I check is not unit price. It is whether the product can be traced to a real manufacturer.

5. Verification: Klein vs Multimeter Is Not the Right Question

But 'Klein' is a brand, not a type of tool. You are not choosing between Klein and a multimeter; you are choosing which multimeter to buy.

For incoming inspection, a multimeter is useful. It catches shorted contacts and obvious wiring mistakes. It will not tell you if a connector is genuine, or whether the contacts are actually DURAVX Extreme grade. That requires lot traceability, maybe a supplier audit, and a reliable source.
